We finally got a gig, after all of those tries over the past year it might work out. We had a small time slot at a local coffee shop, Peaberrie's, they've got open mic nights every week so we might keep doing that. Our cover of One went well and our guitarist, Mike, played one of his own songs. Hopefully we can start going to the Teen Center's acoustic shows, would be fun, but they usually don't have much of a turnout.
As for the rest of our stuff..we might try one more time to record One...maybe the bongos will work or I could jump on set and do a quiet part. We also want to learn some other songs like Aeroplane Over the Sea or King of Carrot Flowers, if anyone listens to Neutral Milk Hotel. Personally, I don't think those would be a good choice for the kind of setting and crowd that is listening at Peaberries but we'll see how it goes.
